What we are about – Community. Fellowship with one another as the body of Jesus Christ. Pursuing him is the Way Forward: The Way, The Truth, and the Life.

I’m not talking about an online community or social media platform, but rather real-life communities of connected local believers that fellowship with one accord to give glory to the Most High. A fellowship beyond our individual churches for the purpose of building new relationships with brothers and sisters in Christ. This leads to stronger local communities which in turn seek out and support new believers in discipleship and demonstration/modeling of what it looks like to be “doers of the Word”.

The Way Forward is a forum of resources, testimonies, and support where social media, this website, and email distribution lists that exist not to draw people in, but rather to support local groups that fellowship so that they can share the resources and connections here with new or existing members of their community. This place is to be a hub for people to connect people locally.

It’s only natural that this is beginning local to me; however, if you are not in central Arkansas and you need this as a forum or tool for your local fellowship community, please send me an email! It is not intended just to be for one location but rather for any local Christian community that needs it. Anyone who has a desire to see something here or can contribute in some way, you are most welcome!

One last item that is dear to me. I operate out of the love of Jesus, which is gentle, humble, long suffering, kind, and not prideful. If we ever have to do something out of correction, I will always lean on what scripture has to say about it. It is important for me to be loving than it is to be right in order to prevail in an argument. In such cases the root of the argument may be removed from the forum at my sole discretion. This may include posts, links, or comments. The bible has much to say on the topic of offense within the body of believers, and much of that is left to the local community/church to resolve and not this forum. Many of those doctrinal issues have caused the love between us and for others to grow cold. We can discuss those doctrines as long as it is loving and patient.

It is my sincere hope that this forum creates opportunities for us to dialog on what that looks like and how to “do” the Word. Yes, there may be disagreements with what is shared or different perspectives, but let’s journey together to make sure that love prevails over strife as we seek to become of one accord and a spotless bride.

With love, your brother,
